Why is this panel Important?

Our Iron IV Panel provides a comprehensive look at iron status and other important blood markers used when evaluating a client for Iron IV therapy.

Appropriate lab work is required before receiving an Iron IV infusion. This panel evaluates iron stores, red blood cell health, inflammation, and other factors that may help determine whether Iron IV therapy is appropriate.

What’s Included in the Iron IV Panel?

  • CBC with Differential – Evaluates red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and other important blood markers.
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) – Evaluates kidney and liver function, electrolytes, glucose, and overall metabolic health.

  • Reticulocyte Count – Evaluates the production of new red blood cells.
  • Vitamin B12 & Folate – Evaluates nutrients important for healthy red blood cell production.
  • Iron & TIBC – Measures circulating iron and the blood’s capacity to transport iron.
